I have a Dell mini Inspiron and repair computer does not do anything. I want to restore it back to factory settings. What can I do? I have used F8.

So you chose F8 and selected Repair My Computer. Did you choose the advanced options after that loaded? The Dell image should be located on the bottom of that.
Otherwise try pressing F12 on boot and see if there is a Recovery section.

Factory recovery
The repair computer does not load. It goes directly into logging into windows.
It want allow me to do anything else. What causes this?
