System Requirements

On some games it will say,, REQUIRED P4 2.2 GHz, 512RAM, etc. Is that about the same as a Athlon 3800+ ? Did anyone ever have trouble starting up one of PC Gamers demo discs? I just got my new one and was really lookin forward to playing Company of Heroes but it won't spin up. I can't even explore disc in My Computer? I have used the demos on previous issues also.

Your system specs will have nothing to do with accessing the disc.
 
My mistake, I should have said that these were two seperate questions. I just wanted to know about the specs for the next time I'm game shopping, and was curious why the demo wouldn't run now. Penguin answered the first one, thanks Penguin, now about that demo.........
 
To more fully answer Penguin's answer, AMD's model number is a "ballpark" figure for a comparible P4. So, a 3800 AMD will run similar to a 3.8 GHz P4, although not exactly the same.

To start to answer the second part, you've tried other DVD's since this problem?
