System Restoring a Toshiba

I have a toshiba portege A100 which needs to be restored to factory settings through Toshiba's resotore program. I do not have a restore disk, but I am guessing that the restore data is stored in a hidden partition on my hard drive.

Does anybody know if there is anyway of restoring the computer without the disk, or if there is any software that I can download. I am in the UK.

assuming it still loads windows...
see if you have 2 hard drives in 'my computer'
if so, have a root around in there and see if you can find some sort of setup file

yes they hav recovery partition on the hdd, my system came with a restoration disk. i think its better to call toshiba and ask for one. or u may cisit there website and d/l the restoration program...

Did you try 0 (zero) on bootup?

In my system i just press F10 on boot up and the system restore will kick in.
