Hello everyone I'm a noob just so you know!: So where along the line while surfing the net I must have clicked on something for security. So now I have something called System Security on my computer. It has the same colors as norton which I do have installed only it's a striped shield. It keeps popping up saying I have 38 viruses on my computer but if you click on it they want you to spend 50 bucks for it to work. So now it keeps popping up every two minutes or so and it's disrupting my computer. I deleted the desktop icon and restarted my computer and it was back on. There is also an icon on the bottom right where you can hide the icons. I right click it and nothing happens. It's not listed in the add or remove program list. I also right clicked the desktop icon to delete and it wouldn't let me. I ran a full system scan with norton and it didn't come up with anything! Please help me!!!! Thanks for your time!

So I had a choice to click Abort Retry Ignore
I clicked Retry a couple of times and I kept getting the same message. Any thoughts?

Another try---- I right clicked Desktop icon went to properties. Shortcut tab- find target- then right click on delete this is what I got :

Maker sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
- I'm really getting lost with this stupid pop up--- it pops up during games my kids are playing and now when you start up the computer it runs a scan every time! Please help
