Right now my amd athlon 64 processor is running at 35C and my system temperature is at 43C my computer does not have system fans but I get these temperatures with my cover off and a house fan blowing on to it and the computer is under no load, when i play games the computer shuts down because of high system temps, is there something wrong with this motherboard and should i take it back?

Those temps aren't too bad, but what are you using to check them? Its VERY rare that the system temp is higher than the CPU temp. Somethings wrong with that program. I'm wondering if it's actually running much hotter but the program just doesn't read it correctly.

What's it say in the bios about your temps? That's more accurate.

the cpu temerature reads 40 in the bios and system1 and 2 are 47 and 41 respectively buy will take a good jump when i play battlefield

What mobo and PSU do you have? Sounds like potentially the NB is overheating (or the PSU is)
