System tool

So, I just had a problem with a malicious program (not sure exactly what to call it) by the name of System Tool.
I ran windows in safe mode then ran Malwarebytes and that seems to have taken care of the problem.
But I was wondering if there is anything else I should do as well?
I am running Malware and AVG again...

I would highly recommend anytime getting infected with these new malware programs that you scan your system with combofix and post the log to be on the safe side. Malwarebytes misses a few things.

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

• Download this file here :
  
  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/combofix
  
• Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.

ha ha, I just got back home from cleaning a machine that had System Tool 2011 on it.
