Systemax Laptops

Hello im new here. I was in the market for a new laptop. Im looking for something new as i have pretty much been a dell guy my whole life. My last dell gave me some problems so thats why im gonna kinda branch out. I was looking into a company called Systemax. I have seen one of these before but never known anyone to own one. Im looking for people with personal experience with them and let me know what the think. Only a 1ghz cpu, kinda slow if you ask me. What do you plan on using the laptop for?
 
Household and school needs. Just gonna be an every day surfing and homework laptop. Im not a technical guy by any means. I dont know really anything about this stuff. 600-700 is my price range so if you know of something better in that price range i would be very appreciative for some help.
