Systemax Power Supply

The power cord on my wifes Systemax laptop went out. Does anyone know if the universal one they sell at Radio Shack will work as a replacement?

Dunnno off the top of my head but check the power rating information for the laptop and the power rating for the universal adapter

Thanks Praetor it should work laptop is like 15v and this one goes up to 24

Dunno if this is relevent but also check the current (the amperage) too

didnt think about that will have to check it to. Are most of those adapters universal for laptops it comes with about 8 different ones the power adapter does.

It should work and i dont see why it wouldnt unless you have some really oddball laptop but just check to be sure

where is the best place to buy a universal ac adapter? I've looked around some but havent found a place I trust enough to order from

No idea. Electronics stores like Radioshack, while horribly expensive, might be the only readily available means
