I currently have DSL here is my speed test..

Last Result:
Download Speed: 2976 kbps (372 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 312 kbps (39 KB/sec transfer rate)


A friend of mine said T1 was faster? I looked around on the net, and the download speed for T1 is 1.5meg, thats half the speed of my DSL, so what gives?

Is he wrong, or what is the scoop on this one?

T1 is a dedicated line from your ISP so there is no shared bandwidth from other users on your node or in your case connections from you C/O

T1 is also a lot more expensive, and is not worth it for the consumer.
