yesterday i upgraded the cpu in my laptop from a t5500 to t7700. in my system under control panel, it said i have t7700, but in device manager, it said i have t5500, what should i do? should i update the bio?
 
You might have to do a repair install of windows, or a fresh install if the repair won't work. There was a post about this just the other day and can't remember what the poster had to do to get it recognized correctly.
