Has anyone thought about this? Yesterday I helped out a friend by building her a computer from parts I and another friend threw together, then she got a tablet for me to load on the machine. Those things are neat! Her particular one came with both a pen and the mouse. What's so cool is the mouse doesn't have a ball or anything(duh 
) but it also doesn't require batteries. I thought this was quite neat, but I wasn't sure how it would actually work.
I assume tablet's have fairly high DPI's, but I really couldn't find any info about them. They also aren't exactly the cheapest, but some on ebay aren't too bad.
