I am in the market for a tablet and I'm only going to use it for my database. Can anyone tell me if access 2007 can run on a tablet. I don't know much about the droid o/s. I'm concidering a tablet because of its size and convenience.
You would need a tablet that runs Windows to be able to run Access on it. It won't be long until tablets will be released with the new Windows 8 which was designed to run on tablets and such. I think I would wait for those tablets to be released.

In theory I know some newer laptops are having a free or a really cheap upgrade fee so in theory the slates should offer something similar. The only thing about these slates is they are very expensive considering what you are getting.
I will only use this tablet for business use so I want to spend the least amount as possible. I am only interested in running access. Thanks for all you input on this. Rick
Your best bet is still probably to wait for Windows 8, which is going to be released this October. If you need it now, there are still some decent, cheap Windows 7 tablets out there.
