has anyone ever taken apart the inpspiron 9100 or know where a user guide maybe. my laptop has been jittery lately and i think the cpu fan might be clogged. the user guide that came with the laptop does not say anything about taking it apart.

you should have seen my old compaq, so much dust if you blew into it you would see huge clumps of dust. Im surprised how it ran.

the 9100 is built geniously. the heat sink is a metal bar and it extends to fans on the sides that are easily removed so you don't have to remove the monitor and the keyboard to get to it.

Also, i have heard of people taking a vacuume to the air vents to get dust out of it, but i myself have never done it.

Smart move, because static can be harmful to components of the PC such as HDDs or Memory modules. I would certainly rather take it apart.
