Taking out the RAM

In order to take the RAM out of the tower do I need take the whole mother board out? Or.. does the chip snap out? I figured out i need to take at least one of them out. Please help..

No you don't need to take the board out, all you need to do is unlatch the clips holding the memory sticks in and pull them out evenly
 
haha thanks man! THE WHOLE TIME I WAS EYEING THE WRONG THING. Its hard to see because its on the other side of the box and its dark, and polluted with wires..
 
Guess what happens if you turn on you pc and your ram isnt properly snaped in place?
It fries your board and can fry your memory. I was playing around with a very old pc. It originally had windows95 on it. I didnt put the ram properly back in place because the pins on the board didnt make the snaping noise. Long story short my board and memory shorted out.
