I am new at computer game file downloading.... so please bear with me here................

I have downloaded a couple games which came in the TAR format. I then used the ZIpeg programme and extracted a TAR file to a folder of my computer. It then gave me 32 files of about 3480kb each. Now i dont know what to do next to play the game.... Please help me!! thanks
 
its not illegal were i live, the sticky is very long, i searched it and no warnings came up, thanks for being so understanding
