Hey i have a samsung R519 laptop with upgraded 4gb or ram and was trying to play football manager 2011 then thats where the first problem started it said it does not have enough memory to run so a tried to close the window through task manager which i have found out has been disabled by the adminstrator and cnt seen to enable it again any help on this issue or why the game wnt play would be great thanks

You can usually turn off applications using SysInternals PSKill. You could also try Task Manager clones like SysInternals Process Explorer

You should take a look at your Windows accounts to see who has admin privileges

The laptop is running windows 7

Ave tried to access it throught the run comand buy typing taskmgr.exe but it just comes up saying its disabled

Whats the size of each ram stick? also, did you try taking out the ones you added and tried it then?

I have two 2gb sticks i only had one 2gb stick when a tried to play the first time and it said the game memory was running to low so i bought another 2gb stick the same as what was in already and it still says the same the game has a minimum 1gb requierment also when i go to my computer properties its says i have 3gb usable

Its also possible that malware has disabled the task manager please do the following to see if your system is infected.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Please keep updating until it says you have the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • A log will be saved automatically which you can access by clicking on the Logs tab within Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

If for some reason Malwarebytes will not install or run please download and run Rkill.scr, Rkill.exe, or Rkill.com but DO NOT reboot the system and then try installing or running Malwarebytes. If Rkill (which is a black box) appears and then disappears right away or you get a message saying rkill is infected, keep trying to run rkill until it over powers the infection and temporarily kills it. Once a log appears on the screen, you can try running malwarebytes or downloading other programs.

Download the HijackThis installer from here.
Run the installer and choose Install, indicating that you accept the licence agreement. The installer will place a shortcut on your desktop and launch HijackThis.

Click Do a system scan and save a logfile

Most of what HijackThis lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.

Post the logfile that HijackThis produces along with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log
