Is there a place where I can get taskbar addons such as cpu usage etc.

theres everest but you have to leave it on cuz it'll be gone when you close everest. there are other ones though.

Not Quite What I'm Looking For

This isn't quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for stuff that is shown in the start bar. Any sugesstions.

You could always try win bar at www.winbar.nl/ It sits at the top of the screen and monitors cpu and memory usage.It also has a volume changer.
