My internet works, but I am having problems getting my mail. When ever I try to get my mail it tells me the the server is not responding. It asks if I want to wait or stop.

I went into my internet connections and tried repairing them all. They all worked except for my 1394 (??) connection. It says that my TCP/IP will not allow this.

I have tried fiddling around with the settings, but I can't seem to figure out the problem.

Thanks in advance.

The 1394 connection doses not have any thing to do with the e mail problem.
Are you trying to download your mail to your computer using a mail client like Microsoft Outlook.

Are you trying to set up outlook or was it working before and it just stopped working.
Also did you just install a firewall or any other software on your computer.
1394 is FireWire if I'm correct
yep

It was working before. I just turned on windows firewall ( I had it off before because I was using Norton but my NOrton subscription expired) I went in though and told it to allow outlook. And I said to allow ports 110 and 25 (maybe i did that wrong??)
