Is anyone else excited about TF2 finally coming out? I can't wait, members who pre-loaded the game can try the beta out tomorrow. I must say i've been looking forward to this game ever since EP1 came out.

I'll make sure to take some screenshots!
 
the original was incredible, i spent countless hours playing that game. the class balance was perfect and the way they all seemed to blend in together was brilliant
 
Pre-loaded? You mean pre-purchased for $45. :P

I was thinking about it, but didn't want to waste $45 bucks on a game that's not out yet. I have been following both Portal and TF2 though, and they both look really cool.

Whatever :P

The game will be officially released on October 10th, but the BETA is suppose to be available today. I got it free with my video card :)
 
Where is it.
I stayed up till 4:30 am Eastern waiting to play it.
I finally go to bed, and I wake up to play it now, and it's still no released yet.

From what i've heard it's not going to be unlocked until later this afternoon/tonight. Which sucks because I woke up early hoping to play it before school :(
 
I believe it's now unlocked via steam. Have fun :)

Edit: I hear that many people still can't play it though. Their DL gets decrypted and unlocked but the game won't launch. Too bad, maybe it will be fixed by tomorrow.

Well it was officially working as of 3:30 eastern time.

Overall it is good, few things I would do differently, but w/e.

That is true how ever I have found that sometimes when something goes wrong and you get really annoyed about it sometimes the simple answers slip by.


Oh and hello fellow Oregonian. I'm near Eugene. :D
 
Ah! I used to live in Eugene. When I was quite small though, and not for long.. I believe my aunty and cuz's still do. Nice place, from what I remember of it, although It's Oregon itself that keeps my wonder.. We live in a great and beautiful state, huh? :)

So true, it's really gorgeous I live on 5 acres about 30 minutes south of Eugene with a creek (well it the summer it's a trickle and in the winter it's a river) and lots of trees. :)
 
You are so lucky. :P About a year 1/2 ago we lived on a similar place, in Sandy, with many acres and there was also, no joke, a creek running deep into the woods a couple hundred yard past the tree-line. It was gorgeous.. <3

Alas We are now stuck in an apartment complex in the suburbs.. Luckily there is a nature park not 6 blocks down the road.. Last time I went up there, about a week ago, I got lost in the forest! Man, I took me hours to find my way out, and when I did I was on the other end of the city! Talk about sore legs...

Heheh, sorry about the Hijack Omega. :o

Yeah I am lucky I've lived here since I was 3. :D

Poor you stuck in a cement jungle. :( But at least you have nature nearby.

I got the new modem today, as well as a free upgrade from 2.5mbps/256kbps to 3.5mbps/600kbps.

Anyways, i'm having the same problem many are having, the game launches but then crashes. :-/
