Tell me about LCD widescreen monitors please...

Im looking to get a new monitor for my computer and i want it to be atleast 19 inch and wide screen... so far i think all the widescreen monitors i seen were LCD ... but i remember hearing that LCD was bad dont buy that or what ever ...

I mainly plan to use this for gameing also , heres the monitor that im really close to buying.

It seems like a really good price to me, and a nice monitor.

Now what i really wanna know ... What are the disadvantages of having an LCD monitor? And is there any widescreen monitors out there that are not LCD ? If so please link one to me.

And also if anyone knows of a better monitor out there maybe a little bigger or somthing for not to much more then that price ... please show it to me :D

LCD? No... if anythiing, LCD are great.. your eyes will be much happier compared to CRT.

You probably meant Plasma? Plasma has some disadvantages and costs so much more than LCD...

It really depends on how clear and how much you are willing to offer up for the monitor... how much are you willing to pay?
 
I guess im willing to spend up to about 300 dollars ... maybe a little more if its worth it but still really trying to stay kinda cheap.
