From those pictures can some one please tell me what type of video card it takes(pci, pci-e ect.), What type of processor it takes(939 ect.), Can it take a AMD processor if the origanal one was a intel and this one proboly won't be able to be ansewred but if it is a atx motherboard/case or not.



and also if you need a bigger version of any of the pictures tell me all the pictures there are downsized and I have the origanal ones on my computer.

looks to be old socket 370 or MAYBE 7, i can never tell them apart. agp video card. show me a pic of the back and i will tell you atx or not. if it is socket 7, best proc is ~amd k6 450mhz, if 370, 1.3ghz p3.
 
aright, dont know what thats called, is this pc a P3? is so it's deffinately a Socket 370, look closeley on the top of where the CPU sits, and it should say Socket ***.
 
JP: It is a p3 and it says PGA 370 so its a socket 370.
Ku-sama:Is that the case/motherboard your talking about? If not can some one please tell me if its a ATX so I can pick out a motherboard.
 
there ya go ;), Socket 370, if you want 2 upgrade the CPU, find out how much MHZ the mobo will support, then find out the FSB of the CPU, and search 4 a CPU, i have a 500MHZ Socket 370 here, dunno what im doing with it, you could also search on Ebay, tons on there.

This my be a stupid question but could I get a 370 that could run good games?
 
like what games? Socket 370's suck 2 be honest, not gaming CPU's at all, i gotta 370 in my Optiplex, 1GHZ, wouldnt play games well.

Ok so I should buy a new motherboard and CPU? If so is my case a ATX case? If it's not what is it?
 
i think you should buy a good mobo and CPU, and i can imagine that your case is ATX, since my 370 mobo came out my Compaq, and that case was ATX, not positive on yours though.

Ok. I think mine is a ATX because I was looking on soyo's site(thats what my mobo is) and it seems all there Mobo's are ATX and ATX Mini's.
 
ok, well not all ATX cases will fit, you have 2 make sure that your mobo will fit in there, like all the ports will fit in the case.
