i looked around alot and i couldnt find what i needed but i wanna know what is the average temp for a Intel core 2 duo and what is a unsafe temp like whats the higest it should be with out messing up my stuff its a 39c and the case is at 30c and its overclocked so is that a good temp but then thing is i wanna over clock it more so whats the max temp thanks in advance

when it starts getting about 70C that is when you start to get worried, i'm not sure what programs other people use (can't remember the name(s)), but i use CoreTemp, but i'm not sure if that works for an intel....

Also what is your OS, because you can get a sidebar gadget that tells you, but i don't think it is very acurrate.

To tell temperature, i found this program:

To me, it's the closest program i've tried that matches my bios temps. Its made by the same people who made cpu-z.

my mobo came with a program witch is like the bios temp so ima stick with that i was just wondering what temp was too high and i just had to underclock it a bit cuz i was playing world of warcraft and it hit 80 c
