Temperature software?

Does anyone know of a good temperature reading program, that you can adjust fan speeds, etc from the desktop rather than in BIOS? Thanks.

I think it largely depends on your motherboard. Gigabyte has a program called EasyTune that allowed me to do so, but I would have no idea if AsRock offers a similar program or of any 3rd party utilities off hand.

CoreTemp is good for monitoring temps and RevaTuner is good for adjusting fan speeds.

Another approach is temperature Hardware. My latest contraption, (Still under construction), features a "Scythe KazeMaster" 4 channel fan controller, and also 4 separate temperture monitors, which you can put on whatever you like; - and this thing fits in a 3 and 1/2 inch floppy bay.

I use a $10 Walmart fan to clear out hot air, comes with multi-directional vector control (tilts) and a master cooling selector (big knob). Haven't figured out how to coordinate with my Asus temperature monitor.
