Temperature

Well I left Far Cry idle for about a half hour. Is it normal that the temp was 115? I have a P4 1.5Ghz. Yesterday I just bought a new hs/fan and i'm not very familiar with CPU temperatures so can someone tell me if this is bad/normal? Thanks

Well all CPU temps are in Celcius, but I think you are in Fahrenheit. I really really hope that is 115F.

46*C isn't bad at all. If your CPU temps get over 55*, then you should be worried. However, I would expect it to be a little lower with a brand new HSF, at least if you got a good one.

lol yea its in F. But the damn thing sais it is made for a 3.2Ghz P4, thats horseshit :-D

wow, I feel like a dumbass. I just bought a fan controller yesterday so i'm not used to having one (and ontop of that the door is closed so I forget I had a fan controller). The fans were all the way down...all the hotair from the cpu was just basically sitting in the case. Wow, just wow.
