I am having all kinds of trouble logging in to Hotmail. Very rarely it will work though my MSN account, but NEVER when trying from Google. Any thoughts...also facebook is very temperamental to log into. I have no troubles logging on to either at work. I did just get my computer fixed by adding 1 gig of ram and a long delayed tune up. I had 2 viruses before the tune-up and now everything is working fine except for these 2 websites.

Do you have a firewall? That could be blocking them.
Yes windows fire wall is on. However i tried to turn it off so that I could see if that was blocking it and The ON setting circle is shaded light grey and the curser is not able to select or deselect on or off. The only thing on the General window that can be altered is the "Don't allow exceptions" box. I'm not sure why :| Theres no users and it is considered admin.
Also when Hotmail won't open a extra address bar shows up on the topp of the window with a padlock icon and the bar reads "Microsoft Corporation (US)"
