What is the best program to run on Windows Vista x64 to monitor temps of the cpu? I may have fixed an overheating problem and I want to check. Coretemp was awful to use.

Well it says: Core 2 Quad:

Core 1 : 44oC
Core 2 : 42oC
Core 3 : 44oC
Core 4 : 46oC

Is this ok?

Those are idle. I used BH Benchmark to see what it was like on full load and it went up to around 74oC on the Multithreaded. About 60oC on the Single threaded. The TjMax where it turns off is at 105oC

Yeah a Core 2 Quad on the stock cooler hitting about 70C at load seems OK to me. My Q8300 used to do that.

Temps are normal for a stock cooler.

I use Real Temp for intel CPU's.
