Hey everyone. This is my first thread.

So i have 3 hard drives on my pc. A 120 gb ssd. 2tb hdd and an 800gb hdd. The 800gb is a quite old hard drive i moved from my old computer to the new one.
I checked the connections and they look fine.
I am using a mini atx gygabite 1150 socket motherboard.

The hard disk shows up at boot and works for a little bit. Then i get a popup from some intel utility saying that the disk was deleted, then it says SATA PORT 4 disconnected and the disk shuts off.
I tried switching sata ports and still get the same problem.
Recently the disk speed stopped showing. up at all. Windows just tells mne it needs to new formatted but i cannot do that due to important data on the disk.
Edit : i disconnected. And connected again whole the computer was still on. This seems to have solved the problem for now but it's very weird..
Halp plz

An 800 gb drive? That don't sound right. I might give you an 80 gb drive. Your drive is most likely failing on you. Need to run a diagnostic on it. What brand of drive is it?
