Test Drive unlimited issue ... help please!

Hi, i have owned test drive unlimited for pc for some time and from time to time my pc goes through phases of the game not working. Firstly it was freezing - then i re-installed windows and it seemed to work, then a few months later it would not start so a reinstall of windows sorted it again and i have recently been playing quite a lot - i started a profile and got quite far but it freezes every time it saves now ... and now as i have heard about the megapack i'm really determined to get it working ... any help much appreciated!
 
hmmmm. have you patched your game already? that patch supposedly fixed some bugs in the game like freezes and profile corruptions.

if you did, i don't have an answer for you. i'd say ask the Atari EU forums about your problems as they're good when it comes to TDU's technical problems.
 
I still think it's your motherboard. Whether you can remove internal HDD's on that board via Windows is another question (i.e. the boot volume) but it works on my PC quite happily, if you discount those damn freezes.

When I say remove internal HDD's, Windows lets him 'safely remove' internal drives!

Hmm .. yeah but i still blame the case!!! evil xblade rubbish! Anyways its fixed now. I had to delete some file.

i saw your thread on tdu-central, glad to know everything's fine. most of the guys there are like the "tech-support", i just abuse taking photos. :P
