i want to play test drive unlimted on my pc and when i do play it is very glitchy. My uncle says just to buy a decent graph card and i wont have to upgrade my whole system. What graph card should i get??

my comp spec:
Proccesor: AMD 64 3400+ 2.4Ghz (Socket 754)
Graph card: AGP nVidia 7600gt
Motherboard: ASUSTeK K8V-MX
RAM: 1GB
OS: XP home

and the requirements are:
Pentium 4 2.4 GHz,
1 GB RAM,
graphic card 256MB (GeForce 6600GT or better),
8 GB HDD,
Windows 2000/XP.

i don't want to buy a whole new system as i am going to university this year and am going to buy a laptop, what should i do to get this game running smooth and in decent quality?? thanks
 
Since your still on the APG based motherboard. Go with the AGP HD3850 video card, its the best out there for an AGP system.

I don't know what power supply you have, you may need to upgrade it as well. (maybe even another cheap 1GB stick of ram would help the performance as well). The 7600GT should play it i think, just not on high settings.
 
my PSU is 420W, the 7600gt is rated at 400W, could this by why it's not running as good? what PSU would i need for the AGP HD3850 and which one would you recomend?
 
oh ye, RAM is 2 512's, my motherboard only has 2 RAM slots, is there no way to expand them??
