Text Ghosting...

I have a new to me, but not new, Gateway2000 EV700. It works fine except I'm noticing ghosting just the immediate right of all images and text. Is there a way to correct this?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I found another resource for answers and it was the cable extension I had. Plugged it directly to the tower and it's fine now.
