The new sale is up. Post your lack of self control here. Over 5k games, so I'm still looking through before making a purchase.
 
Damn it I almost always get a jump on these threads but you beat me to it. :P

I'm not sure if I'll be getting anything. My spending over the past few months has been a bit out of control considering my extremely limited income. I'd probably snag Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition at some point and maybe the Skyrim DLC as I still don't have it.

You should play that and report some feedback. I noticed its "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews earlier and was pretty tempted.

Edit: Also, does anyone know if the sales are changing between days? It doesn't look to be that way.

They usually do with every sale. 1PM EST the next day is when they switch back.
 
That's usually the case, yes. But, there's also usually a message/timer that says when the new deals appear. I think this time around they just threw 5k+ games up and that's it.

I couldn't really find anything that says either way, but I'd like to know in case I can wait a couple days to get some of the sales up today.
 
Yeah they change. There's 2 timers on the front page of Steam that I can see. The top section of deals are for 2 days, and the bottom section are 24 hours. Look along the top right of each section and there's a counter.

I just played the snow sandbox for a while. It's an interesting concept but needs a little more work. Right now only sandbox survival is available; no story yet.

I played the snow level for a while and it's alright. Plenty of buildings and supplies to find, but some items are really sparse (like a can opener) and they don't tell you how to fend off a wolf attack.

Watch some gameplay videos on YouTube. It can only get better, so I say buy it while it's cheap.

I got the skyrim dlc finally with the last sale. Its good so far. The legendary edition was cheaper than getting them individually.
 
I was gonna buy CounterStrike complete (~$11) but I just emptied my checking account for this Black Friday build.. :mad:
 
Just bought Civ V Complete Pack. Now I can finally play with my friend who has been begging me to forever!
