i cant wait until the e4300 drops in price and the e2xxx come out in june.

the e4300 and the e2120 will have 9x and 8x multipliers respectively and a 800FSB. they are both C2D architecture although made by allendale, with those multipliers they can OC easily to 3+ ghz. and they will be 113 and 74 USD repectively. but my question is does anyone know if these allendales are as good of OCers as the Conroe line?

if so they will make some pretty mean budget builds

you cant beat 74 USD for a C2D

maybe we will see sub 1,000USD builds with DX10 cards and C2D, now that would be sweet:D :D :D

yeah i am so physcheedd! but how high do you think allendales can OC? same as the conroes? i mean they have the same architecture

almost 3 ghz on stock vcore! thats insane!

some of those benchmarks are mind blowing with the OCed 4300, it blows away everything in its path.

but in the beginning of the article, it said some BIOS limited the bus speed of the e4300 to 300mhz like in the DFI 975x board. why is that?
