The all New iMac is out NOW! If you already own one let us know what you think and whether you think it was worth it?

no i don't own one either but if i could afford i'd definitely buy it.
i just dont have the moolah
it also depends on your daily needs

Yea, if i had any spare money i would definitely get this one. Unfortunately I am out of money now.. Anyone here wants to buy a new iMac?

Mac's are stable but not much software are compatiable with em. Looks like its worth it but an no from me.

How do you know they are not compatible? They can run windows man, they are more compatible than any other system out there

thats were you're wrong, there are plenty of software for Mac (then again you will say the same thing for linux),ive been using my intel Mac and so far ive been able to do everything that xp did. anyways im not gonna start a war debate but i think it's worth it (again):P:P

Yeah, it's worth it, after it loses it's 'fresh price'. I have been thinking about getting a Mac mini to accompany my Windows desktop. I might also look into a Macbook.

Intresting views guys. Wanted to go see one today but the man in the shop said. "If you are looking for the new iMac, We do not stock it!"

That is great advice, care to explain why they aren't worth the money?

Because you're paying like 1800$ just for a C2D, 1 gb of ram and the rest is normal stuff plus apple is going to release some new ones again in 3 or 4 months or smt like that

You are also paying for what, a 20" screen, a solid OS, and a ton of software that windows does not offer out of the box. You honestly can't compare a PC to a Mac because the Mac offers too many features PCs don't, and if you were to add all the software capabilities of a Mac to a PC the cost is always the same, and in some cases the PC would cost more.

You are also paying for the engineering. I personally do not like the All-in-one type machines, however the iMac takes up very little desk space and offers a lot of performance.

Oh and by normal stuff do you mean?

I don't know any desktop PCs that offer that configuration out of the box, do you?
