the best choice of opteron processors?

True, but then I would invest in a GOOD watercooling kit seeing as you want to put it into your new system.

what do you mean by good watercooling kit?

by the way, we can also talk on the phone or even on msn, lol

As in..not buying a cheap quality water cooling kit for $100 (if you manage too) you know very well that most of the time the higher the price..the higher the quality.

I highly doubt that the mobo will support opteron's.
It does, just not officially. As in if you have a problem AMD or ASUS isn’t going to help you, but it should run fine regardless.

I know, but you just dont (Overclock to 3.0GHZ) you need to have experience in what your doing. Since youve never overclocked a cpu before i wouldnt suggest you go and overclock and opteron and possibly damage the cpu and loose all your money. Read Overclocking 101 and then overclock and much cheaper cpu just to gain some experience.
You don’t need to overcoclk it to 3 Ghz to get performance better then an A64. Clock for clock they are exactly the same. He has just as much chance of ruining a regular A64 from extreme overclocking.

well, i can try overclocking, it seems really interesting

um... if you guys think that botherboard i wanted is not going along with the opterons very well,
i can buy something else.

even though i want to match my ati video card with an ati chipset motherboard
