well it can't be the best with a 7950gx2 as opposed to 8800gtx.......

I specd the best desktop computer for about $6500 for the computer only, could hit 10k if i included the monitor
 
not the latest and greatest now anyways, it not quad core, and it doesnt have 8800GTX, and the mobo could be better with a 680i chipset

Well even if it isn't the best this is one great configuration to have.

Apart from this the technology is evolving at such a rapid pace that there will be better hardware components available in a matter of months that will pose a challenge to this configuration too.
 
Realize, this PC was built a few months back, as in before the 8800's and quad-core processors were released.

Closing as these topics("best" PC and the 10,000 PC) have been covered multiple times in the forums...
