The current McAffe VirusScan Plus

Will the current version of McAffe's VirusScan Plus work on Windows 98SE? Has anybody tried?

Never tried it and as you probably know the platforms it supports does not include W98SE. I would say it could mess up your OS big time with memory and illegal command errors, that's if it even allowed installation if it checks your OS before installing.

Ok. But McAffe VirusScan Plus 2006 works fine with Win98SE right?

Yeah, McAfee VirusScan 2006 10.0 was the last version to support W98SE. It was a big leap in the OS from 98 to XP and I seriously doubt the latest version would even attempt an install.
