The Difference Between Mods, Super Mods And Admins

I know that in the staff ranks moderators can give out infractions and that and Administrators can delete accounts and change the forum site. I'm not sure about Super Moderators although they seem to do most of the work like John and Voyagerfan. I guess that Super Mods can ban people and lock threads, edit them and change them or remove posts but that's my guess. Then you've also got the main forum leader who I guess is Ian who made the site.
 
Moderators can only delete posts, lock threads in only the sections they moderate. They can edit any posts in threads that they moderate. They can issue infractions to any non staff member but can not ban members. Global mods can do everything a moderator can including banning members. Global mods moderate all sections so they can close any thread, edit anyone's post. Admins can do everything global mods can do but only Ian can change members names or forum specific duties.


Travis enjoys editing John's posts so they say silly stuff like "I once walked into a bar and a giraffe was taking a nap. I said to the bartender 'Hey, what's that lyin' on the floor?'. The bartender says 'That's not a lion it's a giraffe!'".

Same post with a little more formatting :P

Moderators: Can moderate in only their designated category (delete, edit, lock threads.). They can also issue infractions, but not bans.

Global Moderators: Can do everything a standard moderator can do, but in all categories. They can also issue bans.

Administrators: They can do pretty much everything, but only Ian can mess with settings and change user names, which means that they aren't all that different then global mods I think.
