I installed a programme and entered the serial code and the programme ran fine until i let it connect to the net to update, then it rejected the serial code and asked me for a new one.

I uninstalled, then installed the programme again and entered the serial code hoping it would accept it and then just use the programme without connecting to the net, having learnt my lesson.

This wasnt the case, it rejected the serial code. If the code is now invalid for all computers then it would make sense, but my other computer can install the programme and use the serial code fine. This means that somewhere my computer is information about the serial code i have used even though i fully uninstalled the programme???

Any help would be very welcome
 
yeah, im sure i am using a fake serial. how can my computer remember what serial i have used even though i uninstalled the programme?
