The new Microsoft office

Hi People in the forum

I have a document that was created in the new office 2007. But me being a fool, i saved it as a "docx" i got rid of office 2007 (for the simple fact of, its crap) but i need to open it again, is there any program or way of opening it,

this may sound stupid, and may not work... but try renaming the files "document.doc", instead of "document.docx". Theres a possibility it will be able to open in another version of office.

nope it didnt work

it said it was corrupted

office 2003 wont open it

try with openoffice

that doesnt reconise it,

ive fixed the problem, i had to have service pack 2 on my xp, then changed the file format to doc, it worked
