The New Windows Live Messenger.

I had downloaded and installed it... but It would NEVER connect for me, even after trying absolutely everything I could. So I pulled back to the last version.

Anyone Use it? Or any other Messenger type service?

Whats your favorite one?
 
I use the latest 9.0 MSN and msn plus installed never had problems.
In fact I did, two times, I had to turn off Firewall to login and then turn it on again. But you see it by an error code, what's the problem.
 
At present time I'm using Windows Live Messenger 8.1 that seems fine for me, it does have problems connecting at times, but normally it doesn't happen that often and if it does a restart of your computer usually sorts it out, i tried Windows Live Messenger 8.5 but still prefer 8.1

Then download the new Beta 9.0 version. No errors at all, I only get one sometimes, but all I have to do is disable my firewall and when I sing in enable it again. And it wouldn't happen to you maybe.
 
I have 8.1
I'm not going to bother with the new one as I don't like the way the conversation window is layed out
