the ring

Hello everyone, just bought a chieftec computer case and there's something i can't figure out. I found inside this ferrite ring, which was also mentioned on their website as being part of the package. What am i supposed to do with it? I know such ferrite coils are used on cables to increase speed, also in power supplies, but that's another story. What's it doing here? I can't find its use.
Could please someone explain this to me? Thanks!

I know it :)
does it have the diameter of a ring? ( one's you wear on fingers)
only thicker. without sharp edges?

if so. the ring is supposed to be put on the cables of the powerswich, pwrLED enz.
so have to put the cables through it. then another time through it. to it cant slide on the cables.

the rind is there to support the cables in case you take of the front panel. ( so you dont damage the mainboard )

ow.. btw. you have to put the ring on the cable. so if the ring reached the hole in the front of the case, the cables still font pop of the mobo. ( hope you'll know what i mean. )

now that's something i never thought about.... :) instead of showing me on their installation guide how to lock the side panel, they could put this one.
thanks alot Archangel, i hate not knowing what to do with stuff i get :D
