Hi, recently i've been deciding between the DELL XPS 170 and DELL XPS m1710. I am wondering if 4gb DDR2 SDRAM at 667 , 2dimm is the same as 4GB dual channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667. Is there any difference between these 2? I know that the processor speed is much faster on the desktop, but are the memory speed the same?? THanks !

There is no effective difference in the memory, both will be dual channel. The one is probably 4 dimms though
