Sims 2 is now end of life, and support stopped something like a week ago, so EA have let the game out for free for a limited time.

The Ultimate collection includes all expansions and 'stuff' packs ever released for the game

To redeem open up your origin client and use the redeem code I-LOVE-THE-SIMS

Available till 31st July 2014

Thanks. It worked, and I am now downloading the game. If I hadn't seen this, I wouldn't have gotten the game back, which I lost a long time ago.
