I have a micro SD memory card that I use with the Adapter to make it a full size SD. I used it in my camera. Formatted it from the camera. Took some pictures. I was able to see the pictures in the camera.

When I insert the SD with the adapter into my computer's card reader, window explorer doesn't recognize it.

I opened Disk Management and was able to see it as Disk 1 (Removable 29.32 GB Online) FAT32 Healthy. But there was no drive letter designated. I right clicked on it and try to assign a letter to the drive and I got the error message "The system cannot find the file specified".

I really don't want to format the card before I can retrieve some of the pictures.

Help please.

I would try it in another computer with a card reader first. Try a different adapter as well.

Tried 3 computers and one of them has a micro SD slot so I didn't have to use the adapter.
Same result.

Does the camera read the disk and show the pics? You said it did before hand but I'm curious if it still does?

Weird. Not sure then. What format is the card in? Maybe its not in a format windows can read?
