saw a few folk whore looking for advice on a laptop. you might want to look at the HP TE69KB laptop outta currys. it has win 8 but i managed to put win 7 onto it in few hours thanks to johnb35 on here.
It has 8Gb RAM,1 Tb HD,nice screen,speakers etc. HDMI output etc. really nice lappy for £349 iirc
