Windows, Mac OSX, or... Linux :D ?

All Operating systems have their strengths and weaknesses. I can't vote on this one. I like the strengths of Linux Ubuntu 9.04 and Windows. I would advise people to dual-boot with both of those operating systems.
 
I love the Mac OS, however since I am a gamer I would have to go with Windows (7 in particular).
 
I choose mac, just because it is so sleek. But I have mac on one hdd, and win xp on another for my laptop. And I have Ubuntu and XP dualbooting on my desktop. So I would have voted for all three.
 
I'm a Windows person. I only use Linux (SLAX) to retrieve and backup files, as it copies much faster than Windows.
 
Windows purley cuz nearly everything is compatible and ive used it all my life - one of my ealiest memories is me sat on my dads knee while he got excited installing windows 98 - at least i think it was 98 not sure

i agree completely i choose windows purely for compatibilty grounds but i love linuix and mac also
 
You can't really say which 'OS' is better... I guess each OS has its own unique purpose, advantages, and disadvantages. Personally, I have been using Windows since around the age of 5 or so, since the late 90's... I've only ever come face-to-face with a Mac & actually used only a few times in my life. If I watched movies, created/edited music and videos, listened to music all day and made multimedia-based presentations on a complete daily basis... I can't see why a Mac wouldn't suffice.
