Themal paste on prongs

Hi first post,I just brought a factory refurbished ga g41m es2l and its not posting, no lights and no beep. It will turn on for about 5 seconds before it turns itself of and tryies to boot again. Any Advice on what to do?

I noticed there was a bit of thermal paste on the CPU

On which side of the CPU


OPTION 1

OPTION 2

If its option 2 then it is good and if its option 1 then it is bad.


Have you installed the motherboard speaker??
