There are 5 - 7 long dotted lines across my monitor?

There are 5 - 7 dotted lines across my monitor, And they are getting really annoying when i'm watching stuff in full screen, They are sort of tan-ish and they are really bothering me, I sent a screenshot to another computer and there were none does this mean it could still be my computer video card or something, Or is it my monitor? What is it and how do I fix it?

Yes. It is likely that your video card is either overheating, full of dust, or failing. Usually this happens when the VRAM is overheating. Check the it isn't the monitor by using the monitor on another machine if possible.
