There is no 64-bit driver for my plotter

At my work we have a plotter (Canon W7200). Turns out that there is no 64-bit driver for this plotter which poses a problem as we all switched to Windows 7 (64) recently and the driver won't install. According to Canon there are no plans for a 64-bit driver. This is very sad since the plotter works great in every way and now it's just sitting there...
Can this be solved in any way?
 
Buy a new plotter or downgrade one system to XP since the last update was 2004. Thats all you can do.
