Thermal Armor ASUS Motherboard, Awsome!!

This is the ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 LGA 1155 with thermal armor. This thing looks mean, or am I the only one that is amazed by it.

It is a price bomb at $259 at Amazonbut thats probaly because it's military grade. It makes me wonder what motherboards well look like 15 years from know.

I've seen one of these boards in a case loaded with hardware, It looked mean. Case was a Corsair 800D and it really suited it.

What for though? Does it serve a purpose other than cool looks? It looks to me like it would insulate the heat more than anything...
